I have had a keen interest in photography since I was a teenager and was bought up surrounded by stills and cine cameras. My father was a keen amateur photographer and consequently I began processing black and white film in the family bathroom with dustbin liners taped to the window.
I was given my first SLR, an Olympus OM10, when I was 18 and loved both black and white and slide films. However my university studies and career as a veterinary surgeon together with family commitments to my wife and three daughters saw photography confined to snap shots using a variety of consumer film and later digital cameras.
In the last five years as my daughters have grown and left home to follow their own dreams I have found myself with the time and resources to pick up a camera for pleasure once more. I am rarely to be found far from my camera and my addiction to photography has been facilitated recently with my acquisition of an iPhone and I will often be found posting photographs in this medium to Facebook and Twitter.
I have created this site to share my images and hope that you will take pleasure in browsing the galleries.
